What we promise, and what we don't.
The closed-testing market is full of opaque services selling fake activity. Our position fits in one sentence: we sell real, documented testing work, and we spell out in writing the limits of what we can guarantee.
Our commitments
We guarantee
- Testers who are real people, on their own physical Android devices.
- The announced number of opted-in testers, maintained daily, with dropouts replaced.
- A dated, verifiable end-of-test report delivered by day 14 at the latest.
- A free full re-run if Google denies production access or requires an extension for insufficient testing.
- An invoice for every payment, a written agreement for every engagement.
We do not guarantee
- Approval of your app: that decision belongs to Google alone.
- A review turnaround: Google generally states seven days or less, without commitment.
- Compliance of your app content, privacy policy or Data safety section.
- Business outcomes: installs, revenue, ranking.
- A successful test if the app is unusable, fails to launch, or is unavailable in our testers' countries.
Google Play policy compliance
Our service exists to satisfy the purpose of Google's requirement, not to circumvent it. Google introduced the rule so that every app from a new personal account is genuinely used by real people on real devices before reaching the public.
Therefore, with no exceptions:
- no emulators, virtual machines or fraud-dedicated rooted devices;
- no batch-created, purchased or shared Google accounts;
- no automation scripts simulating app usage;
- no fake reviews, no bought ratings, no fraudulent installs;
- no developer account reselling.
These practices are detected by Google's systems (notably Play Integrity) and can lead to suspension or permanent termination of the developer account. A tester caught using them is removed immediately and their balance is voided.
We are not affiliated with, partnered with, or endorsed by Google LLC. We have no privileged channel with Google and cannot influence any review decision.
Payments, refunds and guarantee
- Developers: the test is paid in full before it starts. An invoice is issued on the day of payment.
- Cancellation: full refund if cancelled before the first tester is onboarded. After the start, the cycle is due, but the re-run guarantee applies.
- Re-run guarantee: if Google denies production access or imposes an extension citing insufficient testing or tester engagement, we run a full new 14-day cycle at no charge. Send us the decision you received within 30 days.
- Not covered: rejections related to content, content policies, store listing, privacy policy, Data safety section, or an app that does not work.
- Testers: cumulative earnings, withdrawal available from €10 of available balance, paid within 7 business days after an anti-fraud check. Balances never expire. Any transfer fees are shown before confirmation.
- Binding rules: all mission rules, the scale of sanctions and the appeal routes are set out in the Mission Rules, accepted and timestamped at each tester's sign-up.
- Tester referrals: €0.50 each, maximum 2 per month. The bonus stays “pending” and only vests once the referred tester completes a mission themselves. Referring an inactive sign-up earns nothing.
- Bringing in a developer client: the new client gets €2–€4 off their first order and the referrer receives €1.50–€3.50, vested only after the test is actually delivered. If the order fails, is re-run free of charge, or is refunded, the bonus is cancelled. There is no limit on how many clients you may bring in. The 5% monthly cap applies only to tester-to-tester referrals.
- What cannot be deleted: pay for testing work actually performed and validated is owed, even after an account is closed. Only unvested conditional bonuses can be cancelled, plus the entire balance in case of proven fraud.
- Marketplace: price paid in three instalments (30% on signature of the protocol, 40% once Google confirms the transfer, 30% after the buyer's acceptance), directly from buyer to seller. Above €1,500 an escrow agent — notary or licensed service — is named in the protocol. Testeo never collects the sale price: only its 6% commission is invoiced, on completion.
Marketplace — what is forbidden, and why
These rules are accepted when the account is created, by sellers and buyers alike, and repeated inside the member area. Each one matches a known way of losing your app, your money, or both.
- Selling or buying a Google Play developer account. Google explicitly forbids it: both accounts can be terminated permanently, along with the apps they host. We broker app transfers, never account transfers.
- Exchanging login credentials. Same temptation, same penalty. The official app transfer exists for this: it moves the app together with its ratings, reviews and installs.
- Advertising figures that cannot be verified. Installs, revenue, active users: every published figure must be backed by a Play Console export or a statement. An inflated file means the listing is pulled and the account closed.
- Selling code you do not own. Code without a resale licence, an unpaid contractor, an incompatible open-source licence, non-free artwork: the buyer would inherit the dispute. The seller signs a timestamped ownership declaration.
- Dealing directly between seller and buyer. Protection for both sides rests on the order of operations and the evidence kept. The commission remains due if the sale completes within twelve months of an introduction.
- Paying or collecting outside the signed protocol. An early payment is tied to no verifiable milestone: if a dispute arises, it cannot be settled.
- Transferring an app under a Google warning. It would carry its problem along. Open warnings must be declared; concealing them voids the sale.
A breach means the listings concerned are withdrawn and the account closed. If a deal is under way, the file is cancelled and amounts already paid settled according to the signed protocol.
Personal data
We collect the minimum necessary: for developers, contact and billing details; for testers, identity, Google account email, country, device model and payout details.
- Tester email addresses are shared with the developer only to enrol them in the closed testing track, which Google requires.
- Reports delivered to developers are anonymised: tester IDs, no names.
- No data is ever resold to third parties.
- Access, rectification, erasure and portability rights: email contact@testeo.dev, answered within 30 days.
- Retention: mission data 24 months, accounting records for the applicable statutory period.
